Our Local Area
In Māori, the name Titirangi means 'fringe of heaven'.
Titirangi is best known for its bushy scenery, arts and culture, local markets and environmentally friendly community. We are located at the southern end of the stunning Waitakere Ranges Regional Park - 16,000 hectares of native rainforest and coastline, waterfalls and more. Arataki Visitor Centre is 10 minutes drive away, as are several local beaches and famous Piha beach is 25 minutes drive through beautiful rainforest.
