We are excited to welcome international students to our school and look forward to working with both the students and their families. We will do everything possible to make your stay valuable for your child’s educational and learning needs.
Kaurilands School is a large primary school in Titirangi, West Auckland. Our school is located in a beautiful setting with a bush-fringed field behind our main school site, providing our children many opportunities to experience bush skills, sports events and explore nature.
When you come to Kaurilands School you will meet Rachel Tims, our International Director. Rachel will communicate with you through every step of the journey - taking inquiries and working with agents, answering any questions you may have before and during your stay, and will be available to assist with anything that may arise.
Titirangi is a beautiful part of Auckland City with many services and facilities within easy reach. Titirangi village is a gateway to The Waitakere Ranges Regional Park with many beautiful walking trails, beaches and waterfalls to explore.
At Kaurilands School we offer an inclusive and supportive learning environment. We have welcomed international students from many parts of the world and believe the experience of working with international students is a wonderful opportunity for our visitors and current school community to learn from each other. Our hope is that our international students can make strong connections with our children which can continue long after their visit is over.
During your child’s stay at Kaurilands School they will be fully integrated in the class programme at their specific level and will also receive English classes delivered by our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher, Vicki Palmer, in a small group session focusing on oral and written language which supports the class programme. We encourage our international students to participate in all areas of school life including camps, sports events, cultural groups, clubs, music and arts opportunities.
