Alice Hope aliceh@kaurilands.school.nz I started teaching at Kaurilands School in 2012 before I went away to have my two boys, who have since kept me busy. I love teaching and supporting children to build their independence and confidence with their own learning. I enjoy walking our dogs and travelling.

Amelia Le Cheminant amelial@kaurilands.school.nz I have worked at Kaurilands since 2012 and I particularly enjoy the magic that happens in new entrant classrooms. I am looking forward to working with Alice and welcoming our newest tamariki to Kaurilands. I have 3 children and enjoy reading, cooking, yoga or working on our new house.

Kia ora koutou and welcome to Rūma Tekau mā ono! Our class is a warm and supportive learning environment where children begin their journey into primary education. At the heart of our rōpū (class) is building positive relationships between students, teachers and whānau that are focused on the well-being and progress of every individual learner. In Room 22 we develop independence, courage and kindness as well as strong foundational skills in reading, writing and maths. We also actively learn and practice our five school values- Whanaungatanga, Ako, Kotahitanga, Manaakitanga and Kaitiakitanga to help us become successful citizens of the world.
