Having whānau involved in the learning process is hugely important to us. That's why we use Seesaw. It's an easy way for kids to share and keep a record of what they are learning.

Home Learning Codes

Each student has an Online Learning Code where they can access their work. Follow the instructions in this video https://youtu.be/Ynr9F4gF56k to help you log into your child's learning folder.

If your child has not received a Home Learning Code please contact their teacher.

At Kaurilands we use Seeaw to give whānau a window into the classroom and a way to connect with your child's learning.

Our Seesaw programme:

Learning Journals or Individual Portfolios.

Each student has their own Seesaw learning journal. They will keep this account for the whole of their time at Kaurilands. Posts in Seesaw will vary depending on student's age and classroom, but the purpose remains the same across the school; to allow students to share and keep a record of their learning. As a parent or family member you can receive notifications when your child makes a post to their journal, though the Seesaw parent app, free to download on any platform. If you don't have access to your child's portfolio contact your child's teacher. Grandparents, aunts and uncles are also encouraged to join!
