Come and learn songs and dances in Te Reo Māori. Sian and Matua Gary take kapahaka every week, on Tuesday afternoons for year 0-3 students and on Wednesday afternoons for year 4-6 students.

We are so lucky at Kaurilands to have a space dedicated to all things digital technology. Whaea Rachel runs this at lunchtimes with the help of her Digital Curriculum team. The activities rotate weekly to include coding, robotics, movie making, 3D printing, circuitry, e-textiles, music mixing, minecraft, robotics and unmaking/upcycling.
Come and sing with others who love to sing!
Junior Choir for year 1-2's runs on Tuesdays at lunchtime with Rebecca in Room 28. It's a great time to just come and sing some fun songs together.
Senior Choir is run by Ms Palmer and Mrs Milner. They train the choir to perform for events like the APPA conference and the Titirangi Anzac Parade. If you are in year 4-6 and love to sing, contact Ms Palmer to find out more, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sport is a big part of our culture at Kaurilands School and we endeavour to take part in a variety of sports throughout the year. Senior children have the the opportunity to train and represent the school in a variety of Interschool events. A member of the sports team will notify children of the upcoming events in our Daily Tui. These events will also be posted on the school calendar.
Term 1: Cross Country, Cricket and Swimming
Term 2: Rugby League, Rugby Union and Ripper Rugby
Term 3: Hockey, Netball, Gymnastics
Term 4: Soccer, Athletics
Netball is offered to Year 2-6 children in Terms 2 and 3. Please look out for information about this in Term 1 or contact our netball coordinator Erin Namajuska for more information.
All classes take part in sessions run by our Sport Activator, Anton over the year. They learn fundamental movement skills and participate in a variety of games. Our year 3-6 children take part in soccer sessions run by Kim Beale. We also try and get as many different sporting agencies in over the year to offer children something different E.G T-Ball and Golf.

Our lovely parent expert Christoph offers his chess expertise twice a week to helping budding chess players brush up their skills. Come along on a Tuesday or Friday whether you are a beginner or an expert!
Come and strut your stuff at theatre sports! Kylie will take you through some games and activities that help you grow your theatrical talents. Theatre sports is for year 5/6 in term 1 and 2, then year 4 in term 3 and year 3 in term 4. Meet her in Room 2 on a Wednesday and email her if you are keen to sign up, email@example.com.
Come and learn to play the Ukelele! We all learn to play songs together and sometimes we perform them at assemblies. Come to Room 26 at lunchtime on a Tuesday. For more information email Miss Bombay, firstname.lastname@example.org. Miss Bombay will provide the ukeleles, you just need the enthusiasm.
Come and learn how to draw cartoons with Micaela on a Monday lunchtime in Room 15.
Come to the library at Monday lunchtimes to hear Hayley read some stories. You can come to the library any lunchtime, before or after school to read books as well. Have a look at our library page to see our school catalogue.
We are working towards being able to accompany the school as they sing at assemblies. We meet every Friday at lunchtime in Rūmā Kowhai.
